But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31, NKJV
This will be my last blog post for a while. Since I decided on my goals for the year, I have been convicted to spend more time actually accomplishing those goals… which doesn’t leave much time for blogging. As much as I would love to go full-speed-ahead with my writing, I can feel God telling me to slow down and wait on Him. So much of the time our will and God’s will do not match up, or maybe the timing is just not right. I am going to wait until I can put the right efforts into each of my priorities instead of halfway doing all of them…and thereby doing none of them well. I am looking forward to maturing wherever God leads me.
I will leave you with this edifying message from Tim Conway that I will be listening to over and over again…
What convicted me so much was that I need to be a doer of the word, and not just a hearer. There are more videos in the series if you care to listen to them. They speak about godly conduct, love, and faith. You can find them on the I’ll Be Honest Youtube Channel.
